How do I use televisions with my computer?

There are a number of ways to use televisions as monitors on your computer.  Most computers now include an S-video plug on their video cards, and a large portion of new televisions include an S-video input jack.  Depending upon length, you can use s-video cables and splitters to connect your tvs, or you may need to convert s-video to cat-5 and back (in order to retain signal strength).
